GetDocsSigned is operated by Bacano Systems LLC, a Florida limited liability company. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our electronic signature and form platform at getdocssigned.com.
2. Information We Collect
Account information: Name, email address, company name, and password when you create an account.
Payment information: Billing is processed by Stripe. We do not store your credit card number — Stripe handles all payment data.
Documents and forms: Files you upload, documents you send for signature, form responses, and signatures collected through the Service.
Usage data: Information about how you use the Service, including pages visited, features used, and actions taken.
Device and browser data: IP address, browser type, operating system, and similar technical information collected automatically.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To provide, operate, and improve the Service
- To process transactions and send billing-related communications
- To generate and deliver signed PDF documents and audit trails
- To send product updates, announcements, and support responses
- To comply with legal obligations
- To detect and prevent fraud and abuse
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:
- Supabase — database and file storage infrastructure
- Stripe — payment processing
- Resend — transactional email delivery
- Anthropic — AI form generation (document content only, not personal account data)
- Law enforcement — when required by applicable law or valid legal process
All third-party processors are bound by data processing agreements consistent with this Policy.
5. Document and Form Data
Documents you upload and form responses collected through your forms are stored securely and accessible only to you and recipients you designate. Form respondents' submitted data is stored on your behalf and is subject to your own privacy obligations to those respondents. We store documents for the duration of your subscription plus 30 days after cancellation.
6. Data Security
We use industry-standard security measures including TLS encryption in transit and AES-256 encryption at rest. Documents are stored in private storage buckets with access controlled by time-limited signed URLs. We maintain audit logs for all document signing events.
7. Cookies and Tracking
We use cookies and similar technologies for authentication sessions and analytics. We may use Google Analytics and Google Ads conversion tracking to measure the effectiveness of our marketing. You can opt out of Google Analytics using browser extensions or your browser's cookie settings.
8. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Object to or restrict certain processing
- Export your data in a portable format

9. Data Retention
We retain your account data and documents for the duration of your active subscription. After cancellation, data is retained for 30 days before permanent deletion. Audit logs may be retained longer where required by law.
10. Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected such information, contact us immediately at privacy@getdocssigned.com.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
